A world-class Colombian company with more than 100 years of history and a broad portfolio of food and personal-care products. As part of its technology innovation strategy, it sought a flexible cloud infrastructure that could optimize resources, deliver higher performance at a fair price, and remain sustainable in the medium and long term.

The Planning area needed a provider able to meet critical requirements:
Host and support a Production Planning (PPDS) module integrated with the existing on-premise SAP without buying additional hardware.
Sustain a 99.99% SLA without sacrificing budget or incurring colocation and administration overheads.
Stay on the optimization and performance-improvement path aligned with the business innovation strategy.
Our solution
Pyramid Consulting designed and runs a turnkey AWS architecture:
VPC design with a dedicated region and availability zone, public subnet with a Bastion-Host (t3.medium) and private subnets for Production and Development.
r5.8xlarge instances for production and r5.4xlarge for development, plus SAP Router, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and WAF for security and monitoring.
Turnkey operating model with security via Security Groups, ACLs and Route Tables, integrated with AWS Business Support.
