Project context

The Colombian Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation (S.C.A.R.E.) is a non-profit scientific and professional organization founded in 1949. It brings together anesthesiologists and graduate students in Colombia, working on patient safety, research, professional advocacy and member welfare.

The challenge

The SAP landscape required a controlled technical migration:

Migrate SAP systems on Linux/MaxDB without data loss or service disruption to the professional body.

Ensure consistency across multiple landscape systems (DEV, QA, PRD) during the homogeneous copy.

Meet agreed-upon time windows to minimize impact on the society's administrative processes.

Our solution

Pyramid led the migration with proven SAP tools:

Designed the homogeneous system copy methodology with SAP SWPM and native Basis tooling.

Pre-migration MaxDB consistency validation and fallback plan ahead of each execution.

Full landscape technical migration with post-migration verification and handover to the support team.

Results achieved

The migration delivered key results for SCARE:
